Facial rejuvenation is sought by many to counter the aging process which is inevitable to us all. The skin loses its elasticity, the skin thickens and sags, tiny wrinkles appear and bags develop under the eyes. What many see as aging and inevitable, others see as a reason to seek help. There are alternatives to help you look young again and it will take more than a jar of eye cream. Pharmaceutical products are the worst spent money possible. Here is a list of 4 of the most common issues that cause millions of people to seek facial rejuvenation treatment.

Bags under eyes – According to the Sinai Hospital, there is a growing number of 20 and 30 year olds who have bags under their eyes and they have nothing to do with the aging process. Lack of sleep is not always the answer either. According to the experts, “There is a certain amount of fat naturally in the under-eye area,” Antell says. “It’s held in place by ligaments. As you age, the ligaments get weaker, allowing the fat to push forward, forming that little puffy pillow under your eye.” Sometimes it may be hereditary. So many who are tired of everyone talking about their tired old eyes will seek facial rejuvenation treatment.

Double chins – A double chin is caused when too much fat collects under the jaw line. The pull of gravity can make this mass of soft tissue embarrassingly apparent. In most cases, double chins are caused by weight gain or aging. Normally the double chin will reduce with a large amount of weight loss, but for many a double chin disappears and wrinkles appear on the face if they are pass the age of 50. Women who are older will lose elasticity in their face and with weight loss they look older and have more wrinkles. Another reason to seek facial rejuvenation treatments.

Crow’s feet – The aptly named lines that jut out from the corners of your eyes have many possible causes. Crow’s feet are preventable though and by the times they appear, they are more difficult to remedy. Ways to prevent crow’s feet is by wearing dark sunglasses, sun protection lotion and a wide brim hat when in the sun. Avoid squinting, smoking and being in the sun between 10amto 2pm. A diet high in fruits and veggies are imperative with lots of water. Many seek botox and facial rejuvenation to alleviate this problem.

Facial wrinkles – Wrinkles are the single most testified reason for seeking facial rejuvenation treatments. Wrinkles are part of the aging process and a reason most celebrities will go under the knife hoping for a younger and smoother appearance. Searching for the fountain of youth is indeed a reason to seek help. Are wrinkles preventable? Some are but some are a part of aging. Things that make the aging process advance quickly are smoking, too much sun and an unhealthy lifestyle.

There are many alternatives available for those who truly seek guidance and help. Having a full blown face lift may not be necessary due to the many alternatives available from thread lifts to lipoalternatives. Research thoroughly everything and then take a second opinion. After careful research decide which one is right for you.

Some people have tried holistic approaches like acupuncture to treat the skin under their eyes. Acupuncture (derived from the Latin phrase for “needle prick”) involves the insertion of needles into certain parts of the body. While some have found this procedure to be therapeutic and rejuvenating, researchers suggest that acupuncture produces a placebo effect. This means that the experienced benefits are often based upon the patient’s belief that he or she is receiving proper treatment. In fact, one study shows that the results of fake acupuncture procedures were about as effective as the real thing. It is hard for many to justify paying $50-$80 a session for a solution that is all in their heads.

Natural Remedies that Work

Potatoes to the rescue. One of the best ways to remove puffiness and bags under your eyes naturally is with a few slices of potatoes. Funny how potatoes are so effective for eyes and bad for people to eat who are on diets. Take a 1/4th of a potato and cut into 2 slices or many thin slices. Spritz the eye with water and then lay the potato slices over the eye. Leave the potatoes on for at least 10 minutes.

Freezing eye gel patches or spoons. By placing a frozen eye patches over your eyes everyday for 10 to 15 minutes, bags may be eliminated. If the eye patches cannot be located, use two metal spoons in much the same way.

Cucumbers and milk. Take a few slices of cucumbers and soak them in milk. Place the cucumbers over your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes for a rejuvenated feeling and look.

Lemon slices: Slice some cold lemons and use the slices over your eyes. Make sure you relax with a towel under your head for any juice that may drip off of your eyes. Leave the lemon slices on for at least 20 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Better yet, try other effective natural facelift systems with a proven track record of working. You won’t regret it and chances are that they will be better than these home remedies.

Safe and Effective Treatments for Bags under Eyes

There are a wide array of creams claiming to eliminate bags under your eyes, wrinkles around your mouth and crow’s feet. Make sure you research to see which ones actually work. The most important ingredients in any treatment are fruit and vegetable based acids and retinoid. When combined, these products can help speed up the process of removing old cells and replacing them with new, smooth skin. Take a careful look at a product’s ingredients and endorsements (testimonials from doctors, scientists and past users are key), and you are sure to find a natural facelift treatment that can get rid of the puffiness under your eyes for good.

Sleep deprived individuals are prime candidates for natural facelift remedies for bags under the eyes. Once you get those tired looking eyes, getting rid of them may not be that easy. But this article will give many natural remedies to help you prevent and eliminate the problems. Bags under the eyes are caused by the collection of fluid under the eye. Bags under the eyes are caused from eye strain, poor sleep habits, too much sun, stress, vitamin deficiencies and allergies to name a few. They can also be caused by genetics, smoking and illness. You do not have to live with ugly and sagging bags under your eyes, there are alternatives.

Prevention Methods for Bags Under the Eyes

Eating a healthy diet with lots of water is a great way to prevent bags under your eyes. Eating a few kiwis in milk will prevent eye bags also. Also remember to eliminate the salt in your diet to avoid fluid retention. If you must have salt, make sure you use sea salt.

Surgical Facial Rejuvenation

One of the most common treatments for the skin around the eyes is blepharoplasty. This surgical procedure uses incisions to remove and reposition excess skin from around the eyes. While this operation may be the only option for people whose vision is impaired by loose skin, it is not recommended for cosmetic reasons. This is because blepharoplasty, like most other cosmetic surgeries, has a long list of possible complications associated with it. Scarring, bleeding, wound separation and serious infection are all very real risks whenever you go under the knife.

Surgical facelifts are both dangerous and expensive. They may cause complications, side effects and yes sometimes death. Going under the knife to beautify the skin is scary for most, so they may opt for natural alternatives, such as thread lifts. If you have ever seen a video showing how they take a barbed needle all over the face, you may think twice about that alternative also. Facelift exercises are natural and they are healthy and they are a way to get back that youthful appearance once more.

The wonderful thing about facelift exercises is that it can be done in the ease of your home, during the commute to work or in a comfortable chair or bed to relax in. If done properly they can prevent wrinkles, get rid of double chins and take away wrinkles around the eyes. There are no needles, no pain and no side effects

Most of these types of exercises are aimed at correcting the oval of the face (or creating that oval shape). Although some take a few minutes out of your day every day, many women see a difference in as little as one week. For maximum results, you should do facelift exercises every day to keep your skin looking young and rejuvenated.
The idea of facelifts is to avoid a surgical facelift and to prevent wrinkles. Facial exercises will leave the skin looking youthful, refreshed and rejuvenated. It is a wonderful alternative to going under the knife and it will save you lots of money without plastic surgery.

The mirror never lies and as you have spent years moisturizing your face, maybe you just forgotten to spend as much time on the now sagging and wrinkled neck. The neck will indicate and will show others that indeed you have begun to show your true age.

Hydration with water and diet are imperative, but like many those very tiring neck exercises just don’t work. It is time to consider other measures. Are these measures safe and are they right for you? Many people in this position turn to the United Kingdom’s best cosmetic doctors for surgical or medical procedures like:

Botox: An injection of botulinum toxin (one of the most lethal naturally occurring substances in the world) is administered to temporarily smooth the targeted area. Botox can last from 4-6 months and then will need to be redone. Botox cost approximately 200 pounds per session and up ($308+)

Neck Liposuction: An incision is made in the neck through which fat is sucked out with a hollow tube called a cannula. General anesthesia is used and recovery time is 1-2 days when the new Tumescent Liposuction is used. The prices vary from city to city and from the expertise of the physician, but generally they may start at 1619 pounds and up ($2500 to $5000).

Neck Lifts: There are several ways to carry out a neck lift, but most include making incisions under the chin or behind the ears. Fat can be removed by cutting or liposuction, and excess skin can be tightened afterwards. The cost of the Neck lift is between 3000 to 5000 pounds ($4,640 – $7733). This is the cost for the operation only. When considering a neck lift, make sure to inquire about the fees afterwards such as: appointments after the procedure, medicines, wraps, etc.

Although all these methods have pros and cons they may not be the best choices. Even with the best doctors in the UK, you will still have some side effects, such as pain, disfigurement, and scarring, allergic reactions to anesthesia, damage to internal tissues and in some cases death

Keep in mind that cost should not be your only concern. Sometimes the most expensive surgeon is not the best surgeon. A small town doctor with hundreds of patients and recommendations just may be better than a very expensive doctor who charges thousands of dollars more. Let us remember Michael Jackson’s doctor who charged $100,000 a month. . If you are like most afraid to go under the knife, let’s show you how our body toning system is different.

The Natural Sculpting System is an effective way to tighten tone and shave inches off just about any part of your body. These specially treated cloths are placed directly on the skin, and the breakthrough formula targets soft tissue deep below the surface to get rid of unwanted fatty tissue. We have created a special cloth that fits perfectly on most chins and necks. Perhaps the best feature of this system is that there is no pain, no anesthesia and no need to visit a doctor’s office. You will be getting professional grade results from the privacy of your own home!

One hour is all it takes for each application. While you can repeat the process as many times as you like, most people see results within 1 to 3 treatments, although for many 6 is ideal. There is a 90% success rate with 6 sessions. The natural sculpting system is very inexpensive compared to the other alternatives and can be done in the comfort of your own home. Both liposuction and neck lifts take several hours, and you could experience many side effects and even death in some cases. The natural sculpting system has no side effects and is quick. The Natural Sculpting System will work as long as you stick to a sensible diet and drink lots and lots of water. The Natural Sculpting System is actually an ingenious combination of proven homeopathic, herbal and pharmaceutical practices. It is gaining popularity from Aberdeen all the way to Bristol. Visit our main page to learn about the UK’s newest body sculpting sensation and find out how you can place your order today. We know you’ll love this quick and easy to use product as much as we do!

The search for the fountain of youth can be traced from the 3rd century with Alexander Romance to modern times with the mystical and very handsome David Copperfield. David Copperfield in 2006 bought a group of islands off the Bahamas claiming they held the fountain of youth. He paid 50 million for his islands. He stated, “the waters had magical, life altering healing powers” Now is this David the magician and illusionist or is this David the businessman?

There are so many ads that promise us eternal beauty from creams and lotions to ultrasound facials. As the world becomes so consumed with beauty, we must step back and ask our self if we are truly taking care of our self or are we simply opting to go the surgery route. Plastic surgery is in demand and increasingly rising. In 2008 it was reported that there were over 10.2 million people who had cosmetic procedures done, both natural and surgical. Is this the new rave or just pure insanity? Many may go to these lengths to correct some of these common problems and a few are listed here:

Crow’s feet One of the first signs of aging, especially for women, is often crow’s feet, which are three little lines that find homes at the outer corners of the eyes. Crow’s feet are a common result of sun damage, squinting and exposure. Crow’s feet are often treated with collagen, Restylane and Botox injections, but there are also many topical creams available on the retail market as well.

Prevention is worth its weight in gold, so make sure not to squint. Try wearing a large brim hat and dark sunglasses. If you must be in the sun, wear a good sun screen also. A diet rich in berries is suggested and the consumption of flax seed oil added daily.

Wrinkles around the mouth and nose are another common sign of aging and one that can be alleviated early on in life by smiling more. Frowning will put on more wrinkles than a nice sweet smile. Avoid such things as alcohol, smoking and drug abuse and switch to a diet rich in antioxidants. drink lots of water and keep your skin as hydrated as possible.
By properly protecting your skin with sun screen and avoiding the hottest times of the day (10 am to 2 pm), there is a chance of avoiding many wrinkles on the face, mouth and nose.

Loose, sagging skin around the jaw line and neck Collagen is what keeps our skin tight and plump, essentially keeping everything where it should be. As we age, collagen production is slowed down and our skin begins to lose elasticity. This brings about a sagging, loose appearance as gravity takes effect. The loose skin collects around the jaw line and into the neck, often causing the “turkey gobbler” appearance. This can be rectified with surgical measures or other alternatives such as the Natural Face Lift System.

There are many, many signs of aging, but what shows most prominently is wrinkles and sagging skin. As we age, the simple fear of not getting old will set in, but aging is part of the life process and we will all face it one day. Aging gracefully is the key and prevention is imperative. With the help of over the counter lotions, diet, exercise, facials and liposuction, the fountain of youth could be closer than anyone of us imagined.

Mini Facials:

A mini facial is the most inexpensive type to request. With this facial you will probably receive exfoliation, cleansing, face mask and some pressure point massage therapy. This type of facial may be done at home also using some home made natural facelift solutions. Spas will generally use prepackaged solutions known to give immediate results.

Some of the favorite homemade facials would include aloe vera, oatmeal, honey, olive oil and selected herbs. A very cheap exfoliating mixture is 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil mixed together. Rub this mixture over your face and then rinse with cold water.

A very cheap facial is with honey and the juice of a lemon. Combine the two together and massage over the face. Leave on the face for 1/2 hour and then rinse with warm water and pat dry with a soft cotton cloth.

Luxury and Prescription Facials:

These facials will be more involved and tailored to your skin tone and needs. This of course cost more and will last longer. It is usually necessary to have a before consultation with your salon to know exactly which treatment is necessary. With all facials, it is recommended to have an allergy test done prior to avoid any complications later. Needless to say some products may cause allergic reactions on some individuals.

After the Facial Treatments and Precautions:

After the facial, wait at least 24 hours before applying any makeup and lying in the sun. There have been a few instances of reactions with certain ingredients in the facial used. Although these facials use mostly natural ingredients, they may react with the combination of makeup, creams, moisturizers and toners.

Note: Facials are a preventative measure for the prevention of wrinkles and the signs of aging down the road. Facials cannot remove the damage to the skin already created but can improve, tone and rejuvenate your skin to a younger looking you.

Sagging face, crow’s feet, wrinkles and general feeling of depression sets in as you look in the mirror and wish for the days of youth once more. As you begin to search for the natural alternative for a facelift, you become even more alarmed. Could it be true that the alternatives to a facelift could be more harmful than the facelift itself?

When looking at the many alternatives, it is good to be aware of possible harm, danger and possible even death if the procedures are done incorrectly. It is good to research the latest fads going on and just see how wonderful they really are. There are many alternatives today including Thermage, Thread-lift, acupuncture, creams, lotions, exercises, treatments and more. The first rule in any search for knowledge is lots and lots of knowledge.

Thermage: According to many ads, Thermage will save you lots of money, help you to avoid a hospital stay and reduce the recovery time. Ah, but what about the horrible pain. This is what many have forgotten to tell you about. According to ageless-beauty.com, “In the wrong hands, Thermage can be dangerous. If you don’t do your homework, you stand a small chance of undergoing a procedure to improve your confidence and self esteem, but ending up looking older or, worse yet, deformed and in long-lasting pain.” For most, Thermage is not an option at all, and would not be considered as an effective anti-aging remedy.

Thread lifts Thread lifts are another common plastic surgery alternative, though they should probably be classified as surgery. After all, a surgeon must pass a barbed needle under the skin in order to complete the treatment. While it is not as difficult as a facelift, it still has many side effects and dangers. Some of the dangers include: scarring, swelling, inflammation, infection and possible visible sutures if the patient has thin skin. They are given local anesthesia and have to endure the pain of having a barbed needle placed in their face. The worst part is that this alternative does not last. It is merely temporary and must be repeated again every few years.

Many creams and lotions can cause allergic reactions to the sensitive skin of the face and neck areas. It is important to talk with a doctor, pharmacist, dermatologist, or other healthcare professional before you use any, especially if you are taking any medications or have known allergy problems, particularly those to medications.

Acupuncture: Although the Chinese have used acupuncture for thousands of years, it is no where close to being a safe and effective alternative for a facelift. It can be both painful and expensive. The main dangers with acupuncture are that the art is not regulated and any “Tom, Dick or Harry” can administer acupuncture without a license or even a clinic.

As you can see, simple is not always better, but these solutions are likely a better alternative to plastic surgery than a risk to your body. Overall, many doctors would recommend them highly over liposuction, and they will normally cost much less without a recovery period as well.

Crows’ feet are tiny lines at the corners of woman’s eyes. They are often the first sign of aging, and one of the most common reasons for cosmetic surgery. However, there are natural remedies that work just as well as plastic surgery if caught in the beginning.

Getting rid of crows’ feet can be obtained by using natural methods with little money and effort. By applying some of these suggested remedies, you will prevent and hopefully avoid most crow’s feet problems. By following these guidelines, you will avoid surgery, recovery time and many side effects which can occur with plastic surgery. Let’s face facts, we all age, and aging takes a toll on our bodies. When we spend the majority of our time outdoors, smoke and squint in the sun these signs of aging become more apparent.

Prevention Methods for Crow’s Feet:

Prevention is the best way to stop crow’s feet. Some of the things experts agree on are to use a wide-brimmed hat and dark sunglasses when out of doors. Also, in the sun, do not squint. Squinting only makes the situation worse. Make sure you use a sunscreen especially for the eyes. Apply every few hours and dot the cream lightly and never rub. It is best to stop smoking and never sleep on your face, make sure the pillow case is satin to help in the prevention of wrinkles and give you silky skin.

A diet with berries is suggested as they are high in antioxidants. Some of the best are blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and cranberries as they are very beneficial to the skin. In addition to a healthy diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, take 2-4 tablespoons of flax oil daily. Last but not least, drink lots of water to hydrate the skin (6-8 glasses) daily.

Face Creams:

Most doctors agree that if you never smoke, squint or tan your face, your likelihood of getting fewer crow’s feet is better. The other thing that should be done is the use of a face cream. Use a face cream that contains glycolic acid, which encourages the growth of skin cells that are fresh and new, replacing wrinkles. There are some other very effective home remedies for getting rid of crow’s feet once they have begun to appear. They include, but are not limited to:

The Citrus Remedy. Blend a teaspoon of lemon juice with a tablespoon of orange extract. Apply this mixture directly to the crows’ feet, and leave this on the skin for 10 minutes. This method offers very fast results.

An Oily Approach. Oil is a natural lubricant, and works great for this application. Blend a tablespoon of castor oil with an equal amount of sesame oil. Apply to your whole face. Leave the mixture on your face overnight, and rinse well with warm soapy water in the morning.

Avocado and Almonds–A Cure for Crows’ Feet

The A’s Have It. Finally, one of the most popular at-home wrinkle remedies involves avocado and almond. Blend three teaspoons of sweet almond with a whole avocado. Dab the mixture on the fine lines and leave on for about fifteen minutes. This works great for fine lines all over the face.

As you can see, it is not necessary to opt for plastic surgery when there are many natural alternatives to facelifts. These alternatives work well, cost less and have no side effects. These alternatives will definitely be a better choice over going under the knife!

Those seeking non surgical facelifts often look towards less invasive methods like Thermage®. This natural face lift is great for those wanting to tighten their skin, reduce acne scars, tighten the jaw line and create a chin lift without surgery as well as a neck lift. Facelifts without surgery may be better than botox, plus longer lasting. Natural face lifts are growing in popularity because many people are asking the question “how to get a facelift without surgery.” Those seeking a natural facelift are considering these methods because they are often less costly and less risky while still remaining very effective. Some of these natural facelift methods also produce great results for cellulite.

Thermage®, also known as a crf face lift, is a excellent choice for a non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment. This particular natural face lift requires about one hour to perform the procedure. Minor side effects may appear, but usually only last a few days. This crf wrinkle eraser accomplishes similar results to that of a surgical facelift, without the invasive treatment. Thermage does not involve surgery or general anaesthesia. This natural face lift is performed by both surgeons and dermatologists.

Another option, lifestylelift, is a facial firming procedure that can help to reduce sagging and create firmer skin. The life lift face lift is a chin lift without surgery option. This face lift does not involves general anaesthesia and takes about one hour to perform. It can be a suitable option for those wanting to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as tighten loose skin. A lifestylift generally costs $3,000 to $5,000. You can consider a crf facelift, as well as a lifestylelift, to see which one would be best suited for your desired results. Remember that Thermage® can be done by a dermatologist, making that a great option for some.
