Crows’ feet are tiny lines at the corners of woman’s eyes.  They are often the first sign of aging, and one of the most common reasons for cosmetic surgery. However, there are natural remedies that work just as well as plastic surgery if caught in the beginning.

Getting rid of crows’ feet can be obtained by using natural methods with little money and effort.  By applying some of these suggested remedies, you will prevent and hopefully avoid most crow’s feet problems.  By following these guidelines, you will avoid surgery, recovery time and many side effects which can occur with plastic surgery. Let’s face facts, we all age, and aging takes a toll on our bodies. When we spend the majority of our time outdoors, smoke and squint in the sun these signs of aging become more apparent.

Prevention Methods for Crow’s Feet:

Prevention is the best way to stop crow’s feet.  Some of the things experts agree on are to use a wide-brimmed hat and dark sunglasses when out of doors.  Also, in the sun, do not squint.  Squinting only makes the situation worse.  Make sure you use a sunscreen especially for the eyes.  Apply every few hours and dot the cream lightly and never rub.  It is best to stop smoking and never sleep on your face, make sure the pillow case is satin to help in the prevention of wrinkles and give you silky skin.

A diet with berries is suggested as they are high in antioxidants.  Some of the best are blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and cranberries as they are very beneficial to the skin.  In addition to a healthy diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, take 2-4 tablespoons of flax oil daily.  Last but not least, drink lots of water to hydrate the skin (6-8 glasses) daily.

Face Creams:

Most doctors agree that if you never smoke, squint or tan your face, your likelihood of getting fewer crow’s feet is better.  The other thing that should be done is the use of a face cream.  Use a face cream that contains glycolic acid, which encourages the growth of skin cells that are fresh and new, replacing wrinkles.  There are some other very effective home remedies for getting rid of crow’s feet once they have begun to appear. They include, but are not limited to:

The Citrus Remedy. Blend a teaspoon of lemon juice with a tablespoon of orange extract. Apply this mixture directly to the crows’ feet, and leave this on the skin for 10 minutes. This method offers very fast results.

An Oily Approach. Oil is a natural lubricant, and works great for this application. Blend a tablespoon of castor oil with an equal amount of sesame oil. Apply to your whole face. Leave the mixture on your face overnight, and rinse well with warm soapy water in the morning.

Avocado and Almonds–A Cure for Crows’ Feet

The A’s Have It. Finally, one of the most popular at-home wrinkle remedies involves avocado and almond. Blend three teaspoons of sweet almond with a whole avocado. Dab the mixture on the fine lines and leave on for about fifteen minutes. This works great for fine lines all over the face.

As you can see, it is not necessary to opt for plastic surgery when there are many natural alternatives to facelifts.  These alternatives work well, cost less and have no side effects. These alternatives will definitely be a better choice over going under the knife!
